The Una Pure handbag uses the distinctive characteristics of vegetable-tanned leather to create volume without any stitching. The body is made from a single piece of leather, with joints cut into the back to allow the very stiff material to be shaped into accurate edges. A sophisticated plug system connects the folded leather piece to form a closed body.
The shoulder strap leads through hidden openings into the bag’s interior. Here it can be adjusted in length or even completely removed and stored in an inner pocket. Thus, Una Pure transforms from a shoulder bag to a clutch, which enters into a symbiosis with its wearer: She can lead her arm behind the two front flaps through, whereby the metal rod connecting the flaps becomes a piece of wrist jewelry.
A play between accessory and jewelry that questions the conventional way of pattern making.
